An interview with Kristina

What made you choose your health profession?

Ayurveda found me at a time when I felt completely lost. My energy was low, my body was dehydrated, my digestion was out of whack, and I was overwhelmed with migraines and anxiety. In my teens, I stumbled upon a dosha quiz, and something clicked—it was like finding a language I already knew. This was the start of a lifelong relationship, and I knew I had to dive deeper. Ayurveda spoke to me in a way that made sense, addressing my health holistically and guiding me to balance and vitality.

What are you most passionate about as it relates to your work?

Self-care is my passion. It's the little daily rituals that bring us back to ourselves, grounding us in the present and building up true wellness over time. I believe in creating moments that slow you down in the best way—a nourishing cup of tea, a mindful breath, a gentle stretch. If I’m not carving out space for my own self-care, something has to shift. My work is all about helping others prioritize themselves in ways that feel joyful and restorative, setting them up for lasting health and happiness.

What natural talents, strengths, and insights do you feel you have?

I love leading by example—living a life that’s rich in self-care, mindfulness, and connection. Whether through meditation, movement, or the tiniest of rituals, I bring spirit into my daily life. I’m a detail person; it’s the small things that catch my eye and make a big impact. Life doesn’t have to be a grand production—it can be a cozy drink, a walk with my dog Lenny, or dancing around my living room.

I’m also a bit of a “tracker.” I love planning ahead—soaking grains for tomorrow’s meal or prepping nuts for milk. Tracking my body’s imbalances, checking my pulse, and studying my tongue are like detective work that keeps me curious and tuned in.

One of my magical gifts is reading people—their energy, emotions, and physical state. My Ayurvedic lens helps me spot hidden imbalances, giving me insight into what might be needed to restore harmony.

What condition or health issue makes you so mad that it brings you close to tears?

Stress, hands down. It breaks my heart to see how stress steals joy and disconnects people from themselves. The constant rush, lack of nourishing meals, and endless hours on devices—so many of us are on autopilot. When I hear about digestive issues and the disconnection people feel from their own bodies, I know it’s time to create space to pause, nourish, and reconnect. Detoxing isn’t just for the body; it’s for our lives.

What condition, or aspect of health excites you most?

I’m excited about slowing down, hydrating, and creating daily practices that support the nervous system, digestion, and emotional wellbeing. It’s about nourishing every part of ourselves and asking the questions that really matter: Who are we surrounding ourselves with? What are we putting into our bodies? How are we feeding our spirits? I want to help people tether themselves to the earth and find that sweet spot of grounded calm.

What story compelled you to change the course of your life?

Kidney surgery as a child left a lasting mark on my nervous system. As a teen athlete, I struggled with hydration, bloating, and anxiety. I was always searching for a diet or lifestyle that worked for me, but nothing seemed to click. Ayurveda became my compass. It taught me how to listen to my body, soothe my fears, and connect deeply with myself. This journey has shaped me and inspires me to help others navigate their own paths to wellness.

What or who inspired your work, and why?

DeAnna Batdorf, my Ayurvedic teacher, transformed my understanding of balance. She taught me to listen—really listen—to what my body was saying. What does it need? What is it asking for? My body’s wisdom is always speaking. Learning to respond, applying traditional remedies, and feeling the difference has been life-changing. It’s tried and true in my world, and it’s what I share with every client.

What do you never grow tired of talking about when it comes to health?

I never tire of talking about the doshas—the unique blueprint we each have. This ancient framework guides us to our own rhythms, needs, and imbalances. It’s like a roadmap for living with purpose, ease, and authenticity.

When growing up, what did you love to do more than anything else?

I loved organizing, creating beautiful spaces, and making nourishing meals. Give me a tidy room, a delicious meal, a warm bath with candles and essential oils, and I’m in heaven. I’ve always loved the little touches that make life feel special and full of care.

In Closing...

I didn’t choose an easy path, and this work isn’t for those who want instant fixes. It’s for seekers who want a balanced way of being, who are ready to tend to themselves like a cherished pet or a mythical creature. This is about dedication—to your nervous system, your digestive health, your liver, and most importantly, yourself.

I’m here to guide those who are ready to transcend into their fullest, brightest selves through the sacred art of self-care and holistic healing.
